5. Metal structural parts

(1) the main metal structural parts shall be free from distortion, deformation, crack, serious corrosion of the weld, no obvious appearance defects.

(2) if the corrosion depth reaches 10% of the original thickness without calculation conditions, it shall be scrapped

(3) if the main stressed member produces permanent deformation and cannot be repaired, it shall be scrapped

(4) the main stressed components, such as tower, boom, etc., cannot be repaired after overall instability and must be scrapped.

(5) if cracks occur in structural parts and their welds, the reasons for the cracks should be analyzed, and measures can be taken to strengthen or reapply welding to prevent the development of cracks. If the material does not meet the design requirements, it shall be scrapped.
